Spirituality, print on demand publishing.
The Beauty of Books designs and produces books on spirituality, as well as memoirs, personal histories, and art. We honor those books which serve to teach and change our culture. Books on spirituality often come from deep inside, from a place of inner study and evolution. They can be illuminating, drawing us to search wthin. It is imperative that these books be disseminated to the largest audience possible in order to engender the most change in our culture. Sometimes that means using print on demand publishing.
Once books on spirituality have been written and designed, there are, however, several ways to have them produced. Archival digital printing allows for excellent quality and for a small initial print quantity, making this a cost effective choice.
Of course, there is the traditional offset printing. This is the best choice for 500 or more books and if the author already has a known audience.
Then there is print on demand publishing in which an author pays a nominal fee per book printed one at a time as a bookstore or distributor places an order. The quality is acceptable, depending upon the printer, but it may be a good choice for those just getting their books out there.
The Beauty of Books has designed and produced Love Incarnate: "I have come to tell a story of love". This is a channelled book, the story of Jesus' life as a man — his childhood, adolescence, adulthood, travels and dying — as he sought a way to say that GOD, an energy of Great Love, resides in everything, in every one of us, in all beings. It was printed using archival digital.
Earth Mothers: One Woman's Path of Healing through Mothering, Art, and the Earth is a book about one woman's healing through the journey of becoming a mother as she created life-sized earth sculptures of women. In the process of this work, she developed a profound relationship with the Earth. It is presently with an agent, not yet published. It is in the process of being entirely rewritten.
