The Beauty of Books is a small self-publishing house designing and producing the bound chronicles of what it is to be human. We publish books, specializing in memoirs, personal histories, spirituality, art and occasionally fiction. One of our greatest strengths is our ability to create a printed record that carries the beauty and tenor of the original voice. When you hold a finished book in your hands, it is as if you are touching a part of that life.
As we publish books, we provide design, copy editing, production, and the overseeing of printing. We offer the interviewing and writing processes for memoirs or personal histories. The Beauty of Books guides authors and personal historians through the printing process, whether it be archival digital, print on demand, or offset printing, dependent upon the quantity of books desired and the time frame.
Robin Brooks is designer and owner. Having come from 31 years of an overall graphic design discipline, she has recently shifted her focus 
to designing and publishing books. She has designed many, many projects including books, websites, logos, magazines, newsletters, and even a town flag. Her clients have included Xerox, and she has designed books for Viking Penguin and for The Waldorf Schools.
